PHOTOGRAPHER TOUR – AUGUST 15 to 19, 2014
At the heart of Rencontres, the Photographer Tour is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together visitors, photographers and local population on the Gaspé territory. It presents public gatherings on the subject of creation in the form of photo projections, lecture-discussions and roundtables with the participation of some twenty photographers. Thanks to projections on a variety of buildings and attractions, municipality facilities are used in a brand-new way in the service of art.
Each day of the Tour is the opportunity to meet some artists on the site of their exhibit, with Rencontres personnel in attendance. The decision to hold the event on five consecutive evenings makes it possible to have all the guest artists put in an appearance at one stop or another on the territory.
