For Rencontres de la photographie it seemed unthinkable not to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Festival Musique du Bout du Monde, both as partners of the Town of Gaspé and as members of the group Les événements gaspésiens (Events in the Gaspé). We therefore elected to use the photographic medium, which is our special passion, to illustrate those ten years of remarkable work. The commitment of the Festival to music and to the region has created a cultural and economic activity that benefits everyone.
The Festival Musique du Bout du Monde entrusted us with their photographic archives, from which we selected 60 pictures of the event, from 2005 to 2012, for your viewing pleasure. Happy 10th anniversary, and may the Festival continue making the Gaspé region a very special gathering place year after year!
